Review: Crank
Crank by Adriana Locke
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I liked the story and our hero who didn't want to get involved or to fall in love but he ended up with his four tires flat because of our heroine. LOL! She hit him from the start and he didn't even see it coming.

I completely understand readers who got pissed off with the fact that our hero being married and not say anything to our heroine. And his brothers also didn't say anything to her.
He was separated from his wife for years and had no interest in filing for divorce until he met our heroine.
But as her sister pointed out if it was one of the brothers of them they wouldn't have said anything too.
And as the brothers be womanizers, I think it will only make the next stories more interesting when they are totally in love with someone and get confused and without seeing this coming.

Long, blonde hair with faint streaks of purple and the brightest blue eyes I’ve ever seen, she assesses me in the hazy streetlight.
“She’s awfully pretty, Walker, but she’s no excuse to miss out on Jesus.”
“So I can assume everything Peck said is false?” he asks. “Don’t we always assume everything he says is false?”
Sienna watches me for a long moment. “So, what now?”
“Now you leave.”
“You know what he said to me? He said, ‘Now you leave.’”
“It’s a yes or no question. Are. You. Married?” “Technically, yes.” “Fuck you.” I get to my feet and head back towards the road.
