Review: The Secretive Wife

The Secretive Wife
The Secretive Wife by Jennifer Peel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Amazing!
======================
I liked the first book, but this one was much better.
In the previous book we already had a glimpse of the life of the couple and how our heroine was rejected by the hero's mother and family.
The men of the family are dominated by the matriarch who is a bitch. And an infernal mother-in-law who's going to be the demon cake's cherry. Bitch!
I liked the hero, he is cute and very passionate.
Our hero was a priest and gave up when he fell in love with our heroine. He was torn between his mission in faith in God and his mission as husband. But he chose love.
Our heroine has had a neglected childhood and a past that she is not very proud of. But she has become a strong woman and worthy of the hero's love, but she becomes insecure thinking he made the wrong choice and will regret it.
Now our heroine is a writer and works under a pen name to preserve her and her husband's privacy. Both like to live frugally and to make charity with their money.
All the emotions and tears. Have some paper tissue on hand to wipe away the tears.
I recommend!
