Zero treats our Zeroine very badly and keeps a mistress in the courtyard of the palace and makes a point of showing contempt for Zeroine.

(view spoiler)[Only I got the impression that the child of the Zero's lover was his?
I was not convinced that he had really finished with his mistress.
I did not buy the solution given by the author.
Zero's mistress dating Zeroine's father ... Yuck!
Our Zeroine has to look at the former husband's lover in all family celebrations. I am a bitch who holds a grudge and will not accept it. (hide spoiler)]
