Nordic Barbie from the other day—Charlotte Darling—was flat on her ass before me, looking scared, like she’d seen a ghost.

“I would have never imagined that the condescending prick you described was Reed.”

My grandmother interrupted my train of thought. “I know that what happened with Allison really killed your spirit. But it’s time to move on.”

“Charlotte knows a thing or two about a broken heart. You have more in common with her than you think.”

Great. Manwhore Ken had wasted no time moving in on Nordic Barbie.
