Não é romance, pois romance tem que ter HEA.
Eu perdi horas lendo e me arrependi. Eu me odeio!

A casa ele vendeu, as roupas, móveis e objetos ele doou.
(hide spoiler)]

It is not romance, because romance has to have HEA.
I lost hours reading and regretted it. I hate myself!
(view spoiler)[Our hero has a girlfriend living with him and they are waiting for the wife who is in a coma for 7 years to die. They have it all planned.
But fate has a surprise for them. The wife does not die and to everyone's amazement she wakes up from the coma.
He is stunned and his girlfriend furious, because our heroine spoils with their plans.
Our heroine is alone in the world and the hero welcomes her to his house and girlfriend. You see, he got rid of everything that was our heroine, and she has nothing more of her stuff. The house he sold, the clothes, furniture and objects he donated.
She is completely alone and without anything in a world that moves on without her.
Conflict sets in, for she still loves her husband.
It's painful to see him fucking his girlfriend in the next room and his wife in the guest room.
Friends, his family and co-workers are amazed that he lives with his girlfriend and wife together. Everyone expected her miracle to have woken from the coma that he would welcome her with open arms. But he still intends to divorce her and marry his girlfriend.
He has shown himself on some occasions very pathetic and manipulated by his girlfriend.
He also felt guilty.
Our heroine is lost, because in her mind the years have not passed. Everything seems to have happened yesterday. She still loves him very much and is destroyed by having to live with the other woman in the same house.
He finally decides and kicks his girlfriend.
But he dies in the end.
I was stunned looking at my kindle and immensely frustrated. (hide spoiler)]

“Mr. Thorne, your wife’s come out of her coma.”
I looked down at my girlfriend, my Vi, the ring on her left hand sparkling as rays of sun hit it as they poured in from the window. That ring had been a promise to her. I’d marry her right away as soon as Livvy— my wife— passed away.
“But the part that’s going to be difficult for you is that the accident occurred a while ago— seven years ago to be exact.”
“Livvy Thorne, alive and well.” Violet stuck out her tongue in disgust. “The woman you’ve never gone to see once during our entire relationship.”
I was only married to Livvy a little over a year. I had been living with Violet for four years. If it wasn’t for my still being legally married to Liv, I’d be married to Vi right now.
“We’ve been waiting for her to die,” Violet snapped.
“You can’t throw her out on the streets after she’s just woken up from a coma.”
“Four years.” “I see.” She looked away from me. “What’s her name?” “Livvy, please, do we have to do this?” “I have questions, Darin! Do I not have a right to have questions?”
I wish I would’ve just died!
They were waiting for me to die, Beverly, don’t you see that?
You got that, Vi? The only one I love is you. The only one I want to be married to is you. We have built a life together, and regardless what situations come our way, we will be fine. Do you hear me?” I could hear her breathing. “Answer me,” I commanded
“That’s really cold, man,” one of the cameramen blurted out. “You just started shacking up with some other chick while your wife was in a coma?”
I leaned down and crashed my lips into hers. It wasn’t a gentle kiss by any means. It was rough and demanding. She didn’t push me away.
I felt guilty going out with Violet tonight. Livvy would know we were going out for a date. I knew she’d feel that sting, and the guilt lingered. Damn it.
That kiss had destroyed me, and I shouldn’t have even let it happen. Darin wasn’t falling for me again.
“I think it’s time that you move out and find your own way. I need you to leave me and Violet alone. We need some peace after all of this to get ourselves back to normal. She had to live with you haunting my past for a very long time, and now that you’re actually physically here… well, it’s just too much to ask.”
“I’ve missed you so much, Darin,” Liv whispered in my ear. “Welcome home.”
“He’s gone,” I repeated. Just when we got our life back, he’s gone, just like that.
