I do not usually read YA, but I was positively surprised and could not stop reading. 
The story involved me completely and I liked it a lot.
The heroine's father only appears when the heroine's mother dies of cancer. He was never interested in meeting his daughter and only sent a check every month.
Our heroine was always very curious to meet her father, but she never got the chance and her mother refused to touch the subject.
Throughout history she is overcoming her mother's loss, her new school environment, her relationship with her father, and meeting grandparents who did not know of her existence. And the loss of a friendship and the birth of a new love.
All very well written in a way that engages the reader to the end of the story.

Gostei muito, a leitura foi muito intensa e a história me tocou bastante.

Nós conhecemos o casal no livro anterior e ficamos com vontade de saber a história por trás do relacionamento atual deles.

Ryan e Ashley se conhecem desde a adolescência e Ashley era irmã de Leo.

Leo e Ryan tinham uma banda e eram os melhores amigos. Leo era baterista e Ryan era guitarrista e escrevia as músicas junto com a Ashley.

Os pais do Leo e da Ashley eram cirurgiões muito ocupados e negligenciavam os filhos, por isso Ashley e Leo só podiam contar um com o outro e eram muito ligados.

Ryan e Ashley começam um namoro, mas devido ao ciúme e temperamento agressivo de Ryan o relacionamento termina muito mal.

Leo sofre um acidente e tanto Ryan quanto Ashley se sentem culpados e o mundo deles implode.

Ashley foge e vai tentar nova vida em outro lugar.

Anos se passam e finalmente Ryan encontra Ashley.

A mulher a qual Ryan reencontra não é mais a mesma... aquele modelo de perfeição não existe mais e no seu lugar existe uma mulher atormentada pelo passado e com medo do futuro.

Começa a luta de Ryan de recuperar o amor que os dois compartilharam.

O casal conta com o apoio dos amigos que trabalham e frequentam o bar do Danny.

A história me fisgou desde o início e tem cenas muito emocionais, confesso que chorei em várias partes.

Tem cenas muito tocantes.

Gostei muito da jornada do casal desde o reencontro até eles finalmente admitirem que o amor deles continuou apesar de todos problemas enfrentados pelo casal.

Acompanhamos também o desenvolvimento dos personagens apresentados no primeiro livro e ficamos loucos para saber os próximos acontecimentos com o pessoal do bar.

A série está ficando cada vez melhor e eu realmente recomendo a leitura.

I really enjoyed reading was very intense and the story touched me a lot.

We met the couple in the previous book and we want to know the history behind the current relationship.

Ryan and Ashley know each other since adolescence and Ashley was the sister of Leo.

Leo and Ryan had a band and were best friends. Leo was drummer and Ryan was guitarist and wrote the songs along with Ashley.

Leo's parents and Ashley were surgeons very busy and have neglected the children, so Ashley and Leo could only rely on each other and were very close.

Ryan and Ashley begin a relationship, but due to jealousy and aggressive temperament of Ryan the relationship ends badly.

Leo suffers an accident and both Ryan and Ashley feel guilty and their world implodes.

Ashley runs away and will try new life elsewhere.

Years pass and Ryan finally find Ashley.

The woman whom Ryan finds isn't what it used to be ... that model of perfection no longer exists, and in its place there is a woman tormented by the past and afraid of the future.

Begins the struggle of Ryan to recover the love the two shared.

The couple has the support of friends who work and attend Danny's bar.

The story hooked me from the start and got very emotional scenes, I confess that I cried in various parts.

Has very touching scenes.

I enjoyed the journey of the couple since the reunion until they finally admit their love continued despite all problems faced by the couple.

We are following the development of the characters introduced in the first book and we're dying to know upcoming events with the bar staff.

The series keeps getting better and better and I really recommend reading.

Jack é um grande pai para Tristan e o amor e conexão dos dois é imenso.

Marissa tenta se ajustar a vida louca que Jack leva. 

A publicitária tenta a todo custo interferir na relação dos dois e inclusive tenta impedir que ela acompanhe Jack em eventos públicos. Ela acha que uma outra mulher que todos pensam ter sido namorada dele é mais adequada do que ela.

Os dois passam por muitas situações de estresse e o relacionamento dos dois fica abalado.

Uma grande turnê, paparazzi, fofocas, ex-namorada, ex-namorado, dúvidas e incertezas... tudo acaba interferindo na vida dos dois.

Fotos e vídeos dos dois juntos que vazam para imprensa.

O passado dos dois também é uma sombra no relacionamento deles.

Mas os dois vão se ajustando e o amor dos dois acaba superando todas dificuldades enfrentadas e eles formam uma família linda.

Gostei muito de acompanhar a trajetória do casal e apesar de ter um final maravilhoso ainda teremos mais sobre a vida dos dois no terceiro livro.

Estou louca para ler mais!

They go through various situations that put to the test the love of two and also the ability of the two form a family.

Jack is a great father to Tristan and the love and connection of the two is immense.

Marissa tries to adjust the crazy life that Jack takes. 

The publicist tries at all costs to interfere in the relationship of the two and even tries to prevent her accompany Jack in public events. She thinks another woman who everyone thinks have been his girlfriend is more suitable than she.

The two go through many situations of stress and the relationship of the two is shaken.

A major tour, paparazzi, gossip, ex-girlfriend, ex-boyfriend, doubts and uncertainties ... everything just interfering in the lives of two.

Photos and videos of the two together that leak to the press.

The past of the two is also a shadow in their relationship.

But they're both fitting and the love of two ends surpassing all difficulties faced and they form a beautiful family.

I really enjoyed to follow the trajectory of the couple and despite having a wonderful final still have more about the lives of the two in the third book.

I can't wait to read more!

No dia da cirurgia Jack aparece no hospital e ela fica surpresa com o apoio que ele oferece pra ela.

A partir dali os dois começam a forjar um relacionamento que é abalado pela fama dele, pela publicitária que cuida da imagem da banda, pela família de ambos e todo tipo de interferência externa que acontece na vida de uma celebridade.

Marissa sofre todo tipo de pressão ao tentar se ajustar à vida de Jack. E ainda por cima a irmã dele desconfia que o filho não é dele e exige um exame de DNA.

Nós vamos acompanhando uma série de acontecimentos e acabamos duvidando que o casal consiga se ajustar.

Ciúmes, dúvidas, imprensa, empregados... tudo conspira para a falência do relacionamento deles.

Mas os dois se amam e é muito legal acompanhar o relacionamento dos dois.

O amor de Jack pelo filho também é muito lindo, os dois se conectam desde o primeiro instante.

O livro não tem final e continua no próximo volume.

The two go to a rock concert where various bands will perform. She goes over to accompany her friend because she doesn't enjoy this musical style.

Her friend Olivia leaves her alone and go after one of her idols.

Marissa finds a stray dog and goes in search of the owner of the pet.

She meets Jack, but she doesn't know that he's the star of one of the rock bands.

Both have a few hours of great sex and each go our separate ways.

A few months later she receives a call from Jack, but she's not going to meet him.

The story jumps 5 years in time.

After all this time Marissa is obliged to contact Jack. Their son is with a serious health problem and she needs his help.

When he receives the call from her he gets mad and says she deal directly with his lawyers. He doesn't believe the child is his.

Marissa swallows his pride and accept the demands of the lawyers, after all the child's health is at stake.

On the day of surgery Jack appears in the hospital and she is surprised with the support he provides for her.

From there the two begin to forge a relationship that is shaken by his fame, the publicist who takes care of the band's image, by both family and all sorts of external interference that happens in the life of a celebrity.

Marissa suffers all kinds of pressure when trying to fit the life of Jack. And on top of his sister suspects that the child is not his and require a DNA test.

We will follow a series of events and just doubting that the couple can adjust.

Jealousy, doubt, press, employees ... everything conspires to the bankruptcy of their relationship.

But the two are in love and it's very nice to follow the relationship of the two.

Jack's love for his son is also very beautiful, both connect from the first moment.

The book has no end and continues in the next volume.

Valerie é uma boa garota, vem de uma família amorosa e bem estruturada e tem a cabeça muito boa... Até que ela conhece Ethan e os dois compartilham o amor pela música e pelo Heavy Metal.
Durante a leitura nós acompanhamos o crescimento pessoal da Valerie e também a trajetória da banda do Ethan e a interação entre os integrantes. O vocalista Brad, ele é um fofo e eu me apaixonei por ele desde o início. Val acaba sendo convidada para ser a vocalista da banda e a trajetória de luta pelo sucesso deles começa. 
Os problemas do Ethan só aumentam, ele abusa das drogas e álcool e também não respeita o relacionamento dele com a Valerie e a trai com várias mulheres.
Val e Ethan terminam o namoro e ela inicia um relacionamento com o membro de outra banda, mas acabam ficando somente na amizade.
Quando você imagina que ela vai dar uma chance para a pessoa que realmente é a certa para ela, lá vem o Ethan e estraga tudo novamente... 
Ele tem uma overdose e acaba usando ela como tábua de salvação. 
Quantas vezes eu fiquei com vontade de entrar no livro e enfiar uma “bala” no meio da testa dele! Que cara mais insensível, sem vergonha, drogado, inútil, destrutivo e etc...
Quantas vezes ao longo de leitura eu parei e perguntei: Como é que uma mulher jovem, bonita, inteligente e talentosa aceita este tipo de lixo de um cara? Alguém me explica?
O livro realmente é muito bom e a história prende a gente de uma maneira que é difícil largar.
Não vou adiantar muita coisa para não estragar a leitura, mas só posso dizer que ela finalmente vê a luz no final do túnel e eu já estava pensando que ela iria aturar esta porcaria até o fim!

Valerie is a good girl, comes from a loving family and well structured and has a very good head ... Until she meets Ethan and the two share a love of music and Heavy Metal.
While reading we follow Valerie's personal growth and also the trajectory of Ethan's band and the interaction between the members. Vocalist Brad, he is cute and I fell in love with him since the beginning. Val ends up being invited to be the lead singer of the band and the path of struggle for success begins.
Ethan's problems only increased, he abused drugs and alcohol, and also does not respect his relationship with Valerie and cheats on her with several women.
Val and Ethan end dating and she starts a relationship with a member of another band, but end up getting only in friendship.
When you imagine that she will give a chance for the person who really is right for her, here comes Ethan and ruin everything again. 
He has an overdose and end up using Valerie as a lifeline. 
How many times I was willing to get into the book and put a “Bullet” in the middle of his forehead. No pun intention! That guy more heartless, douchebag, cheater, drugged, useless, and destructive and etc...
How many times over the course of reading I stopped and asked: How does a young woman, beautiful, smart and talented accepts this kind of crap from a guy? Will somebody please explain?
The book really is very good and the story holds us in a way that is hard to let go.
I'm not going to tell a lot to not spoil the reading, but I can only say that she finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel and I was already thinking that she would put up with this crap all the way!
