There is no demonstration of true love bigger than this one:

"Megadeth, his favorite band, came through Portland, one night only, and he didn’t go. It was a Tuesday and Lauren taught on Tuesday evenings. So no Megadeth."

This author creates the perfect hero in addition to being all alpha male hunk he forgets the other women completely.

"He didn’t even realize he’d stopped fucking chicks until three weeks after meeting Lauren. It hadn’t even occurred to him. When it did, he made a point of going out that evening to his usual hole, The Spike, and picking someone up because Jacko Jackman didn’t do abstinence. Nope. A couple of chicks he’d hooked up with before stopped by and made interested noises and to his enormous surprise, his dick said no."

Our heroine is running from a lunatic who wants to kill her at any cost to get hold of her stepfather's Empire. She has created a wonderful life and made friendships true and she's falling for our hero, but she will have to leave everything behind after a picture of her being posted on the internet and be discovered by assassins again.

"Jorge was desperately looking for Anne Lowell, Chantal’s daughter, Alfonso’s stepdaughter."
"Chantal had died an hour after Alfonso, as his main heir. And then Anne had been Chantal’s main heir."

But after a night of love with our hero, everything changes and now she has a group of men and women willing to protect her and keep her in their lives.

Story full of hot scenes, action, suspense and the special participation of characters from previous books.

“Actually, um...” She turned a bright red. “I was wondering whether you want to make love.”
"He walked her to the bed, stopping just short of it, feeling as if he were strapped with bricks of C4, just about to detonate."

At the end the reader fall in love with the hero and is willing to steal him from our heroine.

Only the villain does not have a very positive opinion about our hero. LOL!

"...choosing this person who looked like one of the more unsavory Sons of Anarchy in a tux—well."

I highly recommend the whole series!

Uau! História maravilhosa!

Se você está procurando um herói perfeito e uma heroína encantadora você acaba de encontrar. 

Ele é um macho alfa de primeira qualidade com aquelas características que amamos e conhecido como "Nick the Lionheart" pela bravura dele.

Ela é uma linda mulher, amorosa, leal à família e amigos, com grande ética profissional, super inteligente e especialista em virologia com um PhD e dois Masters. 

Os heróis juntos são explosivos e colocam fogos nos lençois quando conseguem chegar até eles, porque eles são mestres em transar contra paredes. Os dois são muito quentes e a química entre eles é perfeita.

A melhor amiga da heroína descobre que alguém do departamento deles está vendendo os estudos para ser usado como arma biológica. Esta amiga é assassinada e deixa Kay encarregada de continuar a investigação. 

Traída por colegas que deveriam assegurar que as pesquisas feitas seriam usadas somente para o benefício das pessoas e não para enriquecimento pessoal.

Os caras malvados criaram uma arma biológica com o vírus da gripe que somado com o DNA do alvo escolhido se torna em uma arma mortal e que atinge apenas a vítima ou aqueles que compartilham DNA com ela. Um vírus que é a arma perfeita com ação rápida e que some do organismo em 24 horas não deixando nada que incrimine o assassino.

Após vários assassinatos interligados à investigação. Tudo dá errado e nosso herói e a equipe dele entram em ação para salvar o dia.

Muitas cenas de ação e suspense e mais paredes são testadas pelos heróis.

O leitor não consegue parar a leitura para saber como tudo vai ser resolvido e se o assassino vai conseguir atingir Kay.

O final é realmente muito bom e o pedido de casamento é épico. Nunca vou esquecer a cena.

Recomendo muito toda série.

Este livro foi meu favorito até agora.

If you are looking for a perfect hero and a charming heroine you just found here.

He's an alpha male of first quality with those features we love and known as "Nick the Lionheart" by his bravery.

She is a beautiful woman, loving, loyal to friends and family, with a great work ethic, super smart and Virology expert with a PhD and two Masters.

The heroes together are explosives and put sheets on fire when they can get to them, because they are masters at sex against walls. Both are very hot and the chemistry between them is perfect.

Kay best friend finds out that someone in the Department is selling the studies to be used as a biological weapon. This friend is murdered and let Kay tasked to continue the investigation. 

Betrayed by colleagues who should ensure that the research done would be used only for the benefit of the people and not for personal enrichment.

The bad guys have created a biological weapon with the flu virus that combined with the DNA of the target becomes in a deadly weapon and that reaches only the victim or those who share DNA with. A virus that is the perfect weapon with fast action and that disappears in 24 hours leaving no anything that would incriminate the killer.

After several murders connected to the investigation. Everything goes wrong and our hero and his team come into action to save the day.

Many scenes of action and suspense and more walls are tested by the heroes.

The reader can't stop reading to find out how everything will be resolved and if the killer will get Kay.

The end is really good and the proposal is epic. I will never forget the scene.

I highly recommend the whole series.

This book was my favorite so far.

He must be wondering whether she suffered from some kind of mental or hormonal disorder. Maybe she was. Nick Lust Disorder.

Primeiro tenho que alertar que para entender melhor os acontecimentos é aconselhável ler Midnight Secrets primeiro, senão você vai ficar perdido em meio a tantos acontecimentos.

O livro inicia com o enterro de Hector Blake, nosso vilão que queria ser o Vice Rei das Américas.

Summer, como boa repórter investigativa, está intrigada com o mistério que envolve a morte de Hector e suspeita que ele seja a chave do mistério sobre o Massacre de Washington. Então ela comparece ao enterro para tentar colher informações.

Jack, disfarçado de mendigo, também vai ao enterro para o mesmo fim, confiante de que ninguém vá reconhecê-lo. Afinal ele está usando este disfarce por 6 meses e ninguém o reconheceu.

Só que Summer o reconhece pelos olhos azuis e pela ligação que tiveram no passado.

Jack e Summer compartilham uma história antiga, pois se conheceram quando ela tinha 12 anos e ele 15 anos de idade. Summer se encanta pela família Delvaux e pelo jovem Jack. Mais tarde se reencontram na Faculdade e se tornam amantes. Jack tira a virgindade dela e em seguida a troca pela colega de quarto e várias outras garotas. Summer fica de coração partido e Jack desaparece da vida dela.

Summer é uma jornalista especializada em política com o blog Área 8 bem conhecido pelo conteúdo e respeitado pela veracidade dos fatos apresentados. Jack, que é considerado morto por todos, fica com receio que Summer vá estragar seu disfarce e divulgar no seu blog.

Jack a convence a ajudá-lo na investigação com a promessa de que a história será dela para publicar no blog Área 8. E com isso ela se torna um alvo dos conspiradores que agora querem eliminá-la.

A autora cria uma trama de suspense realmente muito plausível e que nos faz pensar. Um país recebendo uma série de ataques orquestrados de tal maneira que não só a estabilidade política, mas também a economia seja afetada e isso ocasionando o abalo de toda estrutura governamental.

Primeiro o Massacre de Washington dizimando centenas de pessoas junto com toda a família do futuro candidato a presidência. Segundo o assassinato de Hugh Lownie, diretor do NCS da CIA e mentor de Jack. Terceiro fato a drenagem de 3 trilhões de dólares da economia americana da noite para o dia, causando o colapso de indústrias e iniciando uma grande recessão.

Tudo isso orquestrado por americanos não só parte do governo, mas do alto escalão das agências de inteligência junto com a China. Todos movidos pela ganância de dinheiro e poder!

Este livro me surpreendeu, pois a história de amor dos heróis ficou em segundo plano para dar ênfase à busca dos culpados pela conspiração e também na sobrevivência dos heróis.

Confesso que não é meu livro preferido, pois senti falta daquele macho alfa tão característico da autora, mas a história prende a atenção do leitor e cumpre o prometido.

Recomendo e estou ansiosa pelo próximo!

Hector Blake is dead, but the conspiracy continues.

First I must warn you to better understand the events it is necessary to read Midnight Secrets first, otherwise you will be lost in the midst of so many events.

The book begins with the funeral of Hector Blake, our villain who wanted to be the Vice King of the Americas.

Summer, as good investigative reporter, is intrigued by the mystery surrounding the death of Hector and suspects that he is the key to unlocking the mystery of the Massacre of Washington. So she attends the funeral for trying to gather information.

Jack, disguised as a homeless, also goes to the funeral for the same purpose, confident that no one will recognize him. After all he is using this cover for 6 months and no one recognized him.

Only Summer recognizes Jack by his blue eyes and the connection they had in the past.

Jack and Summer share an ancient story, since they met when she was 12 years old and he's 15 years old. Summer was delighted by the Delvaux family and the young Jack. Later the two reconnect in college and become lovers. Jack takes her virginity and then going on to other women without giving explanation. Summer is heartbroken and Jack disappears from her life.

Summer is a journalist specializing in politics with the blog named Area 8 well known for its contents and respected by the veracity of the facts presented. Jack, who is considered dead by all, is afraid that Summer go blow his cover and publicize the fact on her blog.

Jack convinces her to help him in research with the promise that history will be hers to publish in the blog Area 8. And with that she becomes a target of the conspirators who now want to eliminate her.

The author creates a suspenseful plot really plausible and that makes us think. A country receiving a series of attacks orchestrated in such a way that not only political stability, but also the economy is affected and it causing the collapse of the whole governmental structure.

First the Washington Massacre decimating hundreds of people along with the whole family of the future presidential candidate. Then it's the murder of Hugh Lownie, Director of one of the agencies on CIA and Jack's mentor. Third fact that occurs is the drainage of 3 trillion dollars of the American economy overnight, causing the collapse of industries and starting a major recession.

All this orchestrated by Americans not only of the Government but also of the top intelligence agencies along with China. All driven by greed for money and power.

This book surprised me, because the love story of the heroes stayed in the background to give emphasis to the pursuit of the guilty for conspiracy and also the survival of heroes.

I confess it is not my favorite book because I missed that alpha male so characteristic of the author, but the story holds the reader's attention and fulfill promised.

Recommend and I'm looking forward to the next!

Este livro, como todos da autora, não é somente uma história de amor recheada com cenas quentes, tem muita ação, suspense e uma grande conspiração como pano de fundo.

Nosso herói, Joe Harris, é um ex SEAL que está se recuperando de uma missão em que acabou dois meses em coma, submetido à cirurgia e quatro meses de penosa reabilitação. Apesar da infância difícil, conseguiu formar uma rede de amigos muito unida e que o apoiam nos bons e maus momentos. Sempre estando lá para ele. Conhecemos alguns destes amigos nos livros anteriores da série e outros nos são apresentados neste.

Já nossa heroína, Isabel Delvaux, vem de uma família poderosa politicamente e muito rica, mas também muito unida e amorosa. O mundo dela é literalmente virado de cabeça para baixo quando se torna a única sobrevivente de um massacre onde toda a família dela é exterminada por supostos terroristas. Isabel, filha de Alex Delvaux, futuro candidato a presidência dos EUA e grande líder político, emerge de um coma com amnésia sobre os acontecimentos do dia da perda de sua família.

Isabel, agora se chamando Lawson, linda, tímida, solitária, misteriosa, ainda se recuperando dos ferimentos sofridos no atentado, se muda para uma nova cidade para recomeçar a vida longe de tudo. Quem poderia imaginar que ao se mudar ela pararia justo ao lado da casa de um SEAL bonitão que também se recupera de ferimentos! Nossa heroína foi muito sortuda, porque os inimigos da família Delvaux ainda estão à espreita e o perigo continua.

O vilão é um advogado poderoso, ex-embaixador, ex-senador, saído de três casamentos fracassados e amigo íntimo da família Delvaux, o nome dele é Hector Blake e peça chave na conspiração para tomada de poder sobre o governo e a desestabilização das instituições americanas. Ele ambiciona o poder total e o cargo de Vice Rei das Américas.

Mas como toda história escrita pela autora, nada é tão simples e existe toda uma rede por trás da conspiração e nosso vilão é a ponta do iceberg. O desenvolvimento da trama é bem interessante, mostrando a evolução do relacionamento entre os heróis, a luta para a superação do trauma e injúrias sofridas, o apoio dos amigos, a alegria de fazer aquilo que se ama e a volta por cima depois de tantas perdas sofridas.

Cada heroína da autora é única, neste livro Isabel é uma cozinheira de mão cheia e todos adoram os pratos maravilhosos preparados por ela.

Não vou entrar em detalhes para não estragar a leitura, mas temos muitas surpresas e suspense ao longo da história e é claro já ficamos na expectativa da próxima aventura da série.

Recomendadíssimo!

This book, like the others of the author, it's not just a love story filled with hot scenes, there's a lot of action, suspense and a big conspiracy.

Our hero, Joe Harris, is a former SEAL who's recovering from a mission in which resulted in him with two months in a coma, submitted to surgery and four months of painful rehabilitation. Despite a difficult childhood, he managed to form a close-knit network of friends and support in good times and in bad. Friends who are always there for him. We know some of these friends in the previous books in the series and others are featured in this.

Our heroine, Isabel Delvaux, comes from a politically powerful family and very rich, but also very close and loving. Her world is literally turned upside down when she becomes the sole survivor of a massacre where her whole family is wiped out by suspected terrorists. Isabel, daughter of Alex Delvaux, future candidate for Presidency of the United States and great political leader, emerges from a coma with amnesia about the events of the day of the loss of her family.

Isabel, now with the surname Lawson, beautiful, shy, solitary, mysterious, still recuperating from injuries sustained in the bombing, moves to a new town to start a new life away from it all. Who could imagine that the move she would stop right next to the home of a handsome SEAL which also recovers from injury! Our heroine was very lucky, because the enemies of Delvaux family are still on the prowl and the danger continues.

The villain is a powerful lawyer, former Ambassador, former Senator, out of three failed marriages and a close friend of the family Delvaux, his name is Hector Blake and key piece in the conspiracy for power over the Government and the destabilization of American institutions. He wants the full power and the position of Viceroy of the Americas.

But like any story written by the author, nothing is ever that simple, and there is an entire network behind the conspiracy and our villain is the tip of the iceberg. The development of the plot is very interesting, showing the evolution of the relationship between the heroes, the struggle to overcome the trauma and injuries suffered, the support of friends, the joy of doing what they love and resilience after so many losses.

Each heroine of this author has a unique feature, and in this book, Isabel is a wonderful Cook and everyone loves the magnificent meals prepared for her.

I won't go into details so as not to spoil the reading, but we have a lot of surprises and suspense throughout history and of course we've been in expectation of the next adventure of the series.

Este livro foi previamente lançado com o título Dying for Siena e sob o nome de 

Elizabeth Jennings.

A história é uma comédia com uma ponta de suspense e algum romance.

Nossa heroína Faith Murphy, daí o nome do livro, é uma brilhante matemática, 

mas ela sofre com dificuldades de tratar com as pessoas e com os relacionamento sociais. 

Nosso herói é um atleta meio cabeça oca e que além de tudo é um mulherengo.

A história começa com nossos heróis transando, ela esperando mais e ele está muito bêbado 

para lembrar do ocorrido. Ele sofreu uma concussão e acaba se embriagando e acorda 

desorientado e nem lembra com quem ele dormiu.

Ela fica mortificada e foge, pois descobre que ele iria se encontrar com outra mulher que não 

apareceu.

Faith é chamada às pressas para uma conferência na Itália e chegando lá se envolve no 

assassinato de um colega. Ela é realmente muito desajeitada e apesar de inteligente não 

consegue fazer as coisas muito bem e acaba sendo suspeita número um do crime.

A partir daí temos muita descrição de lugares e de uma corrida de cavalos chamada Palio.

Achei um pouco chato e confesso que pulei algumas descrições mais chatas.

A história prossegue e tem cenas hilárias onde os policiais aparecem e também da 

investigação policial.

Achei o primo italiano e a irmã do Herói personagens bem interessantes.

Mas eu prossegui com a leitura para descobrir afinal quem matou o cara, afinal eu estava 

curiosa sobre a trama e quem matou o cara.

Eu até nem me importei mais com o casal eu queria saber quem era o culpado do assassinato.

O herói não é nenhum macho alfa que estamos acostumadas encontrar nos livros da autora. 

Me acostumei com os homens da série Ghost Op.

Fiquei desapontada, mas no final a leitura foi boa.

This book was previously released with the title Dying for Siena and under the name of 

Elizabeth Jennings.

The story is a comedy with a hint of suspense and some romance.

Our heroine Faith Murphy, hence the name of the book, is a brilliant mathematics, but she 

suffers from difficulties of dealing with people and with the social relationship. 

Our hero is an athlete half empty head and that he's a womanizer.

The story begins with our heroes having sex, she's expecting more and he's too drunk to 

remember what happened. He suffered a concussion and ends up drunk and wakes up 

disoriented and don't even remember with who he slept with.

She is mortified and flees, because discovers that he was meeting with another woman who 

didn't show up.

Faith is called hastily to a Conference in Italy and getting there becomes involved in the murder 

of a colleague. She's really very clumsy and although smart can't do things very well and ends up 

being number one suspect of the crime.

From there we have a lot of description of places and a horse race called the Palio.

I found a bit annoying and I confess that I skipped some descriptions more boring.

The story continues and has hilarious scenes where the cops and also of the police investigation.

I thought the Italian cousin and Hero's sister very interesting characters.

But I continue reading to find out who killed the guy, anyway I was curious about the plot and who 

killed the guy.

I don't even care anymore with the couple I was wondering who was guilty of murder.

The hero is no alpha male that we find in the books of the author. I got used to the men of the 

series Ghost Op.

I was disappointed, but at the end the reading was good.

A história continua a partir dos acontecimentos do final do livro anterior da série.

O livro conta a história de Sophie e Jon e também a história de superação e recomeço da sociedade após a contaminação da maioria da população por um vírus criado em laboratório.

Sophie é uma cientista que possui os componentes para fazer uma vacina contra o vírus que está atacando a humanidade. Jon é o responsável por levá-la em segurança para Haven. Haven é o único lugar seguro no momento e que tem tecnologia suficiente para manufaturar a vacina.

A primeira cena do casal foi explosiva! Ou melhor dizendo foi nuclear!

Também descobrimos que Sophie tem o dom da cura e que em vista disso ela é uma pessoa que não se abre muito para relacionamentos.

Jon teve uma infância muito difícil e sofreu muito e por isso ele é uma pessoa muito fechada e também é reconhecido por sua frieza.

Jon e Sophie se completam totalmente e nos proporcionam uma linda história de amor e de esperança.

A autora dá profundidade aos personagens e ficamos cativados pela história.

Também temos uma visão do que acontece com os personagens dos livros anteriores o que é sempre bem vindo.

Temos um epílogo bem legal!

The story continues from the events of the end of the previous book in the series.

The book tells the story of Sophie and Jon and also the story of overcoming and resumption of society after the contamination of the majority of the population by a virus created in the laboratory.

Sophie is a scientist who has the components to make a vaccine against the virus that is attacking the humanity. Jon is responsible for bringing her safely to Haven. Haven is the only safe place at the moment and that has enough technology to manufacture the vaccine.

The first scene of the couple was explosive! Or rather it was nuclear.

Along the reading we are following the birth of the couple's relationship and the desperate struggle to escape the infected to reach Safe Haven.

We also discovered that Sophie has the gift of healing and that in view of this she is a person who doesn't open up much to relationships.

Jon had a very difficult childhood and suffered a lot and that's why he is very closed and is also known for his coldness.

Jon and Sophie complete fully and give us a beautiful story of love and hope.

The author gives depth to the characters and we were captivated by the story.

We also have a vision of what happens with the characters from previous books which is always welcome.

We have an epilogue, pretty cool!
