Este livro faz parte da série "Being Yours" e já está no quarto livro.

Eu recomendo a leitura dos livros anteriores, mas este livro pode ser lido sozinho sem problemas. Você não vai perder nada da história, mas vai ficar curioso sobre os personagens dos livros anteriores da autora os quais participam da história e nos deixam com vontade de reler tudo novamente.

A série foi evoluindo bem ao longo das histórias e a escrita da autora nos fisga aos personagens e acontecimentos do universo criado por ela.

Eu fiquei tão envolvida pela leitura que quando eu cheguei ao final da história já era madrugada e nem notei o tempo passar.

Nossos heróis se encontram em um bar e tem uma noite de sexo. Nossa heroína era virgem, mas não resistiu aos encantos do nosso macho alfa. E o sexo foi quente e intenso.

No outro dia descobrem que irão trabalhar juntos e ele será o chefe. Ele não é nada amistoso e tem uma atitude muito hostil. 

Ela começa a namorar o melhor amigo dele, só para irrita-lo. 

Meus amigos, aí é que a história começa a ficar boa.

Um triângulo é formado e dúvidas começam, amizades testadas e limites sendo cruzados. 

Quando além de atração física você começa a gostar da pessoa... o inevitável acontece. 

A autora sabe criar personagens com falhas, mas que nos cativam e nos fazem torcer por eles.

Acompanhe o drama todo com mente aberta e preparado para cenas fortes e também algumas risadas. 

No final eu estava cativada não somente por Tara e Drew, mas também pelo cabeça de vento irresponsável Keller.

Agora espero que a autora escreva a história dele. Eu adoraria ver ele mudando a atitude dele quando ele encontrasse a mulher certa.

Recomendo a leitura!

This book is part of the "Being Yours" series and is already in the fourth book.

I recommend reading the previous books, but this book can be read alone without problems. You won't miss anything from the story, but you'll be curious about the characters from the author's previous books who participate in the story and make us want to reread it all over again.

The series has evolved well throughout the stories and the author's writing hooks us to the characters and events of the universe created by her.

I was so wrapped up in reading that by the time I reached the end of the story it was dawn and I didn't even notice the time passing by.

Our heroes meet in a bar and have a night of sex. Our heroine was a virgin, but she could not resist the charms of our alpha male. And the sex was hot and intense.

The other day they find out that they will work together and he will be the boss. He is not friendly at all and has a very hostile attitude.

She starts dating his best friend, just to piss him off.

My friends, this is where the story starts to get good.

A triangle is formed and doubts begin, friendships tested and boundaries crossed.

When besides physical attraction you start to like the person ... the inevitable happens.

The author knows how to create flawed characters that captivate us and make us cheer for them.

Follow the whole drama with an open mind prepared for strong scenes and also some laughs.

In the end I was captivated not only by Tara and Drew, but also by the irresponsible shit head Keller.

Now I hope the author writes his story. I'd love to see him change his attitude when he finds the right woman.

Os heróis namoram e ele vai para o exército enquanto ela aguarda completar 18 anos para enfim se casarem. Mas o herói manda uma carta acabando o relacionamento e a heroína é obrigada a partir da cidade para fugir do pai abusivo.

Eles se reencontram anos mais tarde em uma missão, ela é uma agente ATF e ele é um agente de operações especiais.

Enquanto perseguem bandidos a história entre o casal vai se desenrolando com muita tensão, ação e cenas explosivas. Segredos são revelados e as faíscas voam entre os dois.

Uma boa história que prende a atenção do leitor e nós somos fisgados ao universo criado pela autora.

Recomendo!

They are reunited years later on a mission, she is an ATF agent and he is an agent of special operations.

While chasing bad guys the story between the couple will unfolding with a lot of tension and action scenes. Secrets are revealed and the sparks flying between the two.

A good story that holds the reader's attention and we are hooked to the universe created by the author.

Eu não escrevi uma resenha mas sim coloquei pra fora tudo que estava sentindo ao ler o livro.

Desculpe minhas reclamações mas fiquei muito indignada.

 O cara é um babaca. O casal trabalha como policial. Ele é apaixonado pela parceira de trabalho dele, mas está em um relacionamento com nossa heroína que está grávida dele.

A tal Beth é uma vadia manipuladora que usa o John. Beth não está apaixonada por ele, mas mantém ele preso em uma ilusão. Ela o chama para solucionar todos os problemas dela e mantem John preso na teia dela.

Ele é um completo idiota e trata Lanie muito mal. Ela fica grávida e ele ignora todas as necessidades dela. John desmarca compromissos, não vai nas consultas médicas dela, se atrasa para jantares com amigos dela e larga tudo para resolver qualquer problema da Beth.

Laine está apaixonada por ele e pensa que ele a ama.

Mas John acaba envolvendo Laine em problemas de Beth e acaba colocando a vida de Laine e do bebê em risco. O ex-marido da Beth é um psicopata que acha que John é o responsável pelo fim do casamento dele com Beth.

John acaba sendo ferido quando o ex-marido de Beth comete um sequestro. No hospital ele acaba admitindo que ama Beth e Laine fica completamente arrasada.

O psicopata ataca as duas mulheres e John é obrigado a escolher qual das duas salvar.

Laine acaba em coma e a vida do bebê é posta em risco. A partir dali nós temos uma batalha porque John tem um choque muito grande.

Se eu fosse Laine eu chutava o traseiro dele porque ele cometeu o pior tipo de traição imaginável. Durante todo o tempo de relacionamento do casal ele estava apaixonado por outra mulher e ignorou a gravidez da Laine completamente.

Fiquei com muita raiva de John, mas ele foi persistente em provar que ele seria um bom pai e que amava Laine.

Eu tive esperança que Laine não o perdoasse, mas não foi o que aconteceu. Eu adoro quando a heroína chuta o traidor e segue adiante.

I didn't write a review but put out everything I was feeling when reading the book.

Sorry my complaints but I was very indignant.

The guy is an asshole. The couple works as a police officer. He is in love with co-worker of his, but he's in a relationship with our heroine who is pregnant with his child.

That Beth is a manipulative bitch who uses John. Beth is not in love with him, but keeps him trapped in an illusion. She calls to solve all her problems and keep John stuck in her Web.

He's a complete idiot and treats Lanie very badly. She gets pregnant and he ignores all her needs. John clear commitments, not going to the doctor's appointments, late for dinner with her friends and drop everything to solve any problem of Beth.

Laine is in love with him and thinks that he loves her.

But John ends up involving Laine in Beth problems and ends up putting the life of Laine and the baby at risk. Beth's ex-husband is a psychopath who think John is responsible for the end of his marriage to Beth.

John ends up being injured when the ex-husband of Beth commits a kidnapping. In the hospital he ends up admitting he loves Beth and Laine is completely devastated.

The psychopath attacks both women and John is forced to choose which of the two save.

Laine ends up in a coma and the baby's life is put at risk. From there we have a battle because John has a very big shock.

If I were Laine I'd kick his ass because he committed the worst kind of betrayal imaginable. During all the time of the couple's relationship he was in love with another woman and ignored completely Laine's pregnancy.

I was very angry with John, but he was persistent in proving that he was a good father and he loved Laine.

I hoped that Laine didn't forgive him, but that's not what happened. I love it when the heroine kicks the traitor and move on.
